Landing that path would be bonkers. Not easy to get it ... a 3 or 4 seed could get DM, but possibly in one of the other 3 regions. Probably need a 2 for both ... OR the other end, 10/11.

We could luck into KC region with a low seed, but we would be kept out of DSM with anything but a 1-4. Committee prevents home court advantage like that on the first weekend for the non top seeds.

Our best shot at DSM-KC is probably to get a top 4 seed, have some good luck about the other top 4 seeds in terms of when each location gets filled, and be on a different seed line than KU so that both of us can go to KC second weekend.
