”Memories, all alone in the moon-light …”
You could do this with just about any Nolan movie after Insomnia.
Yeah, everyone laughed at the idea of Robin Williams in a dark role...and then they saw the movie.Even that has a good cast. Maybe the most underrated movie of all time.
Robin Williams in a non-comedic role is incredible
I think also the only one with sexual assault settlements!Isn’t he like the only one with an Oscar?
Wow, forgot about that Mars Attacks cast.I think also the only one with sexual assault settlements!
A few random ones I thought of in addition to those mentioned, not all of which are necessarily the best movies:
Caddyshack - Murray, Chase, Knight, Dangerfield. Not the best actors, and some arguable life choices, but all hilarious.
Mars Attacks - Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Martin Short, Danny DeVito, SJP, Michael J Fox, Natalie Portman, Pam Grier, Jack Black
Anchorman 1 and 2 - when you factor in the rival news anchors in each, those are some pretty kickass casts
Lincoln - Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Fields, James Spader, Jeremy Strong, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Hal Holbrook, Adam Driver (awful lot of Oscars and Emmys in that cast)
It was pretty amazing! As was Galaxy Quest.Wow, forgot about that Mars Attacks cast.
Best Cats is The MarvelsAt first I read the title as "best cats." I was a bit disappointed in "casts," but there've been some solid arguments here.
Basketball break, watching 1979 Muppet movie with kiddo.
VERY IMPRESSIVE cast:
Mars Attacks Jack Nicholson (in a dual role), Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Martin Short, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael J. Fox, Pam Grier, Rod Steiger, Tom Jones, Lukas Haas, Natalie Portman, Jim Brown, Lisa Marie, and Sylvia SidneyWould be interested to hear some opinons. Might turn this into a poll later on.
