Watching Mississippi Burning tonight on TCM.

Frances McDormand
R Lee Ermey
Michael Rooker
Tobin Bell (weird to see him not in Saw movies)

Isn’t he like the only one with an Oscar?
I think also the only one with sexual assault settlements!

A few random ones I thought of in addition to those mentioned, not all of which are necessarily the best movies:

Caddyshack - Murray, Chase, Knight, Dangerfield. Not the best actors, and some arguable life choices, but all hilarious.

Mars Attacks - Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Martin Short, Danny DeVito, SJP, Michael J Fox, Natalie Portman, Pam Grier, Jack Black

Anchorman 1 and 2 - when you factor in the rival news anchors in each, those are some pretty kickass casts

Lincoln - Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Fields, James Spader, Jeremy Strong, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Hal Holbrook, Adam Driver (awful lot of Oscars and Emmys in that cast)

Robert Altman's The Player was mentioned briefly earlier, but it bears repeating what an incredible cast this had, including 14 Oscar winners and 14 additional actors who were Oscar nominees:

Oscar winners:
  • Jack Lemmon
  • Sydney Pollack
  • Susan Sarandon
  • Julia Roberts
  • Rod Steiger
  • Anjelica Huston
  • Whoopi Goldberg
  • Cher
  • Tim Robbins
  • Louise Fletcher
  • James Coburn
  • Joel Grey
  • Marlee Matlin
  • Harry Belafonte (honorary Oscar)
Oscar nominees:
  • Nick Nolte
  • Buck Henry
  • Peter Falk
  • Gary Busey
  • Greta Scacchi
  • Teri Garr
  • Elliott Gould
  • Karen Black
  • Dean Stockwell
  • Jeff Goldblum
  • Sally Kellerman
  • Sally Kirkland

  • Lily Tomlin
And also Peter Gallagher, Vincent D'Onofrio, Lyle Lovett (famous for other things), Jeremy Piven, Steve Allen, John Cusack, Dennis Franz, David Alan Grier, Kathy Ireland, Andie MacDowell, Malcolm McDowell, Bruce Willis, etc. Basically anyone who was anyone in the '80s or early '90s.
