Not sure why Houston is loading up on WRs in the draft since they already have some studs but it’s gonna be a fun roster if they all stay. I hope they both have solid NFL careers. By all accounts Noel has absolutely worked his butt off to get where he’s at.

The thing is... they don't necessarily. They dealt with injured receivers last year... receivers that may not be around going forward. And they went and drafted a pair of 1000 yard receivers from the same team - IIRC the only pair to do that this past season. You already know they can play together - it might be a total overhaul of their receiver group.

You know what’s cool? Porter, Higgins, and Noel were predicted in 2nd or 3rd round and got picked there. In years past our guys have fallen below their predictions. The NFL is starting to believe in us.
We’re good now.

Nico Collins is a stud, but they don't have much.

Tank Dell is hurt. Christian Kirk is getting older, was never a stud and broke his collarbone in October. Metchie is talented and might have a chance to shine but he hasn't done much. Berries is not a threat.

If Kirk is healthy, Higgins is their #3 and Noel is #4 or #5

On ESPN's site, Houston already has Jayden Higgins listed as a starting WR in a 3 WR set.

If the Texans still like Hutchinson, both Metchie and especially Berries could be cut for cap savings

GameDay Final analyzing both Higgins and Noel - they get why the Texans went after both of them. They liked the fact that both guys don't look at the sidelines to be told what to do, but analyze the defense themselves and make their own decisions -and most of the time it's the right decision.

Higgins will be WR2 to start the year and I think Noel has a good shot at being WR3 by mid season, if not earlier

Kirk can be cut in 2026 for free and Collins gets very expensive after this season.. I'd bet they are trying to get a year ahead while also taking BPA, which happened to be Higgins and Noel
