Couldn't watch it live this morning, and then got the podium spoiled for me on a restaurant TV. That sucked but I've never been in more of a rush to get home and watch a race.

Sometimes I get a little exhausted with how much Brits slobber over Silverstone, but I have to admit that it delivers almost every time.

Rain always helps too.

I don't like Horner but Marko carries way too much weight in that org while catching minimal blame. He has ruined their junior driver program, has been a constant wedge in the relationship between the F1 team and Red Bull as a whole (and within the team), gets to sit on the sidelines and make crazy comments with no consequences, etc.

Horner to Ferrari would be a possibility. He's the type of personality that would embrace the spotlight of that job and, while being an enormous ass, is good at what he does.

I could see him wanting to go with Cadillac. He could build it just like he built Red Bull.

Was reading a bit and forgot he made some comments last week about how it'd be embarrassing for Merc if the RB engines were level with them next year. Maybe that engine program is behind target? Which Max would know about. Or publicly dragging them finally tipped the scales enough they had enough support to fire him.

I would say that's more Jos than anything. Jos HATED Christian, but some how got along with Helmut, From what i've read Helmut/Jos wanted him gone 18 months ago. I would imagine the rumors swirling last week sped up the process. I expected change at Red Bull, but they're a shell of what they were...

I wouldn't be surprised if Seb gets a call back with Laurent Mekies taking over, he was at Torro Rosso when Seb was there, and also at Ferrari when Seb was there.
