No more Iowa Preps?

I would occasionally stop by the high school football forum by to see what the 7 people that still used that site had to say. Looks like it is now on3.com, or at least that is where I get sent when I type in iowapreps.com. It is still run by rivals but posting is behind a paywall. All the old forums are gone.

I used to go to the Hoks free board just to amuse myself at how soon they were going to make the CFP or a final four but that has appeared to have suffered the same fate.
We are so fortunate to have this site, not only for ourselves but so our opponents can relish our achievements also

I was on there a lot back when I was doing high school play by play. I’ve stopped by a few times over the past four years or so … it was a shell of what it was before.

I hadn't been there in probably a decade, but it was a wonderful place when I was in high school. I managed to get myself plunked after talking **** on there to guys at other schools in our conference. But I'll still, even after getting beaned, die on the hill that that kid did not throw 87mph (which is why he threw at me).

The day I read some random dad (I assume) from another team in our conference post something along the lines of “cyfan13 having a really good season on the mound for them. Doesn’t throw overly hard but just knows how to pitch” was good and bad for the ego of a high school cyfan13. May or may not have walked 5 guys the next game trying to throw harder but who cares
