Hopefully he gets raped in prison a few times before they beat him to death in his cell.

I wonder if he’ll give a statement and explain why he did it.
I don't think he's pleading guilty and accepting a life sentence if he didn't do it.The families? Obviously they’ve been following the case closer than I have, but from what I remember, the prosecutors have been fighting to keep the death penalty on the table.
I actually think this is a case where he shouldn’t have gotten the death penalty.
I’m against the death penalty because innocent people have been put to death, I don’t think you can create a standard that will only result in guilty people getting the death penalty, and I don’t think the risk is worth it. However, I get the argument that the death penalty should be reserved where there is absolutely no doubt (e.g. a mass shooter is arrested in the act).
We have a lot of evidence (including DNA evidence) tying him to the crime, but it isn’t a “caught in the act” situation. It is possible that he did not do it. I think he did it, but I’m sure the jurors that voted for innocent people to be put to death were also convinced that they did it.
I was thinking about it, and part of me almost hopes he just wrote a letter to the judge and families. The families can decide if they want to release the letters. Because ultimately it’s not like any of us need to know the motive. That is what I am waiting for right now. For him to talk and say why he did it, how he did it and all of that. That should have been part of his Plea deal.
I think he did it, and based on what I know, if I was on the jury I would have found him guilty. However, it’s possible he didn’t do it but there is enough evidence to convict him (especially in Idaho) so he is choosing the least bad option.I don't think he's pleading guilty and accepting a life sentence if he didn't do it.
The judge followed the plea deal and sentenced Kohberger to 4 consecutive life sentences. Kohberger was given the option to address the court and declined
What’s he going to say to be any helpful at all if he has no remorse? Saying he enjoyed it and it was just another day to him would not help the healing process. I strongly doubt he has any sorrow for what he did.Coward.
Bingo last thing the families need to hear is ope yep I did it and don't feel anything either...What’s he going to say to be any helpful at all if he has no remorse? Saying he enjoyed it and it was just another day to him would not help the healing process. I strongly doubt he has any sorrow for what he did.

Big failure to not require him to allocute as part of the plea deal. I think everyone knows how he did it since he was so sloppy but should have at least forced to him answer why.
Just watched the sisters and I don't know if I would feel better, but in the moment I think I would feel some relief being able to tell the a**hole what a POS he is to his face.Victim impact statements are an interesting thing. On one hand, I'm glad the victims get their chance to say what they need to say to the criminal. But on one like this, I wonder if they walk away feeling any better. If I'm part of the family, I'd be glad to make him hear what I have to say, but the fact that there's nothing you can say or do to make that man show any glimpse of remorse would haunt me.
I mean, I get it but I don't know what people think they are going to get. He's obviously a sick, demented **** that acted on his sick, demented desires. I just don't know what part of the "why" gives anyone any closure.
