    2025 MBB Coaching Carousel

I didn't realize until looking at it in its entirety; add in Texas and there are a number of major jobs open.

WVU accounts sure think DeVries is gone.

    2025 MBB Coaching Carousel

Also of note; WVU I saw that. However, the plane that originated from CR was a single-engine prop plane (C172). Doubt that would be UofI. Still think it's happening but the plane thing is likely coincidence:

WVU also turned down post season invites. Devries apparently meeting with Iowa today.

    Injuries - the concern…

Totally on board with your sentiment about Keshon and Tamin. However, the likely problem with your last sentence is that I don't think we'll ever be full strength again. Keshon sat from Feb 19th to March 1st, didn't look right when he returned, outside of 20 minutes in the BYU game...

    Do we beat BYU?

Hopefully a Gilbert 'get right' game. Get him some confidence going into the post season.

    OSU postgame overreaction thread

Agree with your overall point, and that we haven't beaten a tournament team since KU, I believe. However, I'm arguing your point vs Marquette; we handled them pretty easily. They had 2.5 min stretch in the 2nd half where they outplayed us, but we had them at arms length virtually the entire...

    OSU postgame overreaction thread

I don’t think we’re going to be full strength the rest of the way, that’s the concerning part. Lipsey’s thumb + Gilbert’s injury looks like to be an issue that’s likely not going to get better the more he plays.

Keshon and Curt out @ Houston

We'll more than likely be competing with A&M, Houston, Wisconsin, Michigan, Purdue etc. for seeding in the same region(s). Those locations are Wichita & Milwaukee. Dropping more games impacts location as much as seeding.

Keshon and Curt out @ Houston

Basketball travels via charter, similar to football.

Keshon and Curt out @ Houston

They do not travel with the team. Only ISU staff/players + Heft/Walters on the bball team plane.

That game ending sequence sort-of foreshadowed the next season.

Anyone know where to find this TJ polo?

PGA golfers have been wearing those shirts with the Swoosh on the back for a couple years now (notably Koepka, Rory, and Day). Assuming it's for greater visibility when back is to the camera.

    Sebastian Rancik

Surprised they don't have anything honoring Chauncey Billups, perhaps they do and it's just not on the Wall of Honor you have captured. IIRC, he was an All-American and Colorado

Solomon Young playing well for G league Lakers

Underrated player at Iowa State. Played some high-level basketball as a freshman during Monte's senior season. Then got stuck on some bad/mismanaged teams. He'd fit in well under Otz.

I was thinking almost identical to David Montgomery. I suppose I'd be happy with either...

    Gundy

I don't know if he's fleeced the AD. OSU football has been pretty good under Gundy. In 20 seasons, he's won 10+ games 8 times and went to 18 bowl games (won 12).

Postgame video: T.J. Otzelberger's postgame press conference after loss to K-State

Agreed. I feel like when we hit offensive lulls in games, our guards force things trying to put the team on their back. Complete opposite of the offense we saw earlier in the season/big12 when ball movement led to comebacks and/or increasing leads.
