    Postgame video: T.J. Otzelberger's postgame press conference after loss to K-State

    Similar statements on the post game radio show. TJ did clarify that he didn’t think guys were playing hero ball to selfishly try and get theirs, more so thought they were impatient when trying to cut into KState’s lead. The whole can’t eliminate a 10+ point deficit in one shot/drive.

    Agreed. If I'm remembering correctly last year, central Iowa received majority of their snowfall during those two storms in early/mid January. Relatively quiet after that, then a bunch of storms and rainfall in late April through May. Much prefer the rain, sump pump, however, does not.

    Milan is the one guy on our roster you can kind of clear out the side and give him the ball (in the mid-range) with his back to the basket.     Very similar to how Gilbert and Jones started Big 12 play last year, in terms of 3-point shooting. Gilbert and Jones started a combined 2/17 through the first 4 games. Then the TCU game happened and everything changed.

    Off topic but related to Hogue and Otzelball. That's one reason Fred's team were always decent (ranked in top 50) at rebounding/Def rebounding %. They always had some dudes whose rebounding and defense would fit perfectly under Otz: Ejim, Hogue, Royce White to an extent.

    Storr had a head scratching-contested three point attempt when we were up 6 with about 4 minutes left (during KU's run when they cut our lead from 12 points to 5 points in about 2 minutes) . Critical turn, as I believe the next possession was the Jackson offensive rebound and pass to Lipsey for a 3.

    Having Milan out there in the middle part of the 2nd half would have helped get us out of the slug our offense became for a bit. KU’s defense was sagging off everybody (off the ball), minus CuJo, and clogged everything up in the paint. Having a second knockdown shooter really spaces out defenses.

    I think Kyle has been injured/has had a nagging injury that required a minor procedure. Unsure how much that's affecting playing time, but he's definitely not seeing the court much and has missed a couple games. Edit: Found a story, not filled with details...

    There were some Saturday afternoon games (love Saturday afternoon games btw) that were pretty lackluster during Fred's tenure when playing average/sub-par teams. Games were never really close and very workmanlike.
