They may all be mediocre at best, but I think there are a number of guys on these rosters with a chance to make an NFL impact. Clayborn, Ballard, Sims, AxRob, and Reiff (to a lesser degree) all have proven to me that they are solid college players with NFL quality athletic potential. -

Really? Even during those off years Iowa had thousands more fans in Kinnick than JT can hold. I can see the argument for basketball, but it really doesn't work for football unless you want to start using relative percentages (which you did until that final bolded overstatement).- ClimbIowa

It's true about basketball. But not football. Not even close. Of course, Iowa State has had a pretty decent run in bball since Tim Floyd was the coach so I'm not sure it says too much about the loyalty of the fans when nearly every fan can remember when ISU was the second best team in the nation.- ClimbIowa

I cut a Cannan Fir at a tree farm. It's a balsam/frasier hybrid, but there seems to be a lot of variation in the needle structure between cannans so it's easy to find one that looks exactly like a balsam or another that looks exactly like a frasier. I prefer the frasier, but you can't grow 'em... -
