    KU Ticket Office just opened up 100 more $20 tix in official ISU visitor section!

    I'm part of a contingent of about 25 coming down for the game. My guess is that the parking lots are going to be entirely filled with ISU fans.

    At one point, the chants were much more creative, but then they got shot down because they were too personal in nature. Chanting the players' mom's name while he was shooting free throws, mocking their choices in TV shows, stuff like that.

    I was the guy on the other side of that ladder making sure that the mob of fans didn't overrun your cousin, haha. Which means that my whole torso is on the poster, but you can't see my face, as I'm hidden behind the guy in white. One of the greatest nights of my life.

    I got to fill an open spot on an existing team for this last night. LOVED it. Had a great time, met some great Cyclone coaches, players, and fans. Definitely doing it again next year. NEWS TEAM, ASSEMBLE!

    South Dakota State University was renamed to its current name in 1964. San Diego State University was renamed in the early 1970s. Therefore, South Dakota St. was SDSU before San Diego St. was SDSU. Eat that, Yaztecs.

    The thing about being in pep band is that when someone tells you you're a nerd, it's a point of pride, not a term of derision. If they cared about being called nerds, they'd be a lot less effective doing what they do. :smile:
