At one point, the chants were much more creative, but then they got shot down because they were too personal in nature. Chanting the players' mom's name while he was shooting free throws, mocking their choices in TV shows, stuff like that.
I'm assuming it's something that tracks how many posts you have, how often you post, blah blah blah. So garbage, good for nothing posts like this one will contribute? I guess?

I got to fill an open spot on an existing team for this last night. LOVED it. Had a great time, met some great Cyclone coaches, players, and fans. Definitely doing it again next year. NEWS TEAM, ASSEMBLE!

The thing about being in pep band is that when someone tells you you're a nerd, it's a point of pride, not a term of derision. If they cared about being called nerds, they'd be a lot less effective doing what they do. :smile:
