    Just out of curiousity, how much do you think AI is used this year for creating the official bracket? Seems like you could feed in all the criteria and metrics and use different AI tools to spit out an initial bracket, then the committee just has to finesse a bit from that. Not advocating...

    Milan Rumors - Hand Injury

    On the positive side, it is much better to have this "lull" (and Milan's injury) now as opposed to early March. We are seeing now how we need to change the way we play and adjust to how defenses are guarding us. We have time at this point to make those adjustments.

    Is it still a thing that in-season injuries are considered for seeding purposes where the injured person (Milan in our case) is back in the lineup and losses occurred during the time he was out? Just curious if that factors in at all.

    I have noticed this with Heise as well. Oftentimes he will come in the game and start guarding the best player on the court and said player will start demanding the ball and attempting to go 1-on-1. Usually leads to a turnover or missed shot. Seen it several times this year.

    I believe it was the Willoughby years that we were ranked #4 heading into a non-con game in Hilton against...Marquette. I was there. It didn't end well. Putting this out there so it doesn't happen again.

    I also think people are sleeping on the improvement/potential improvement of our returning players. Curtis Jones was playing like a 1st team all-conference player the last couple months of the year. Gilbert, Lipsey, and MM can all get better/stronger in the off-season.

    Washington st forum

    Was watching the game with my daughter (in her low 20's - just graduated from ISU). She is a very casual BB fan but gets more locked in during tournament (brackets, you know). Started watching WSU-Drake after our game and she made the comment "why do these teams look so much worse than we do"...

    The second half of conference season will tell a lot about Tangs's ability as a coach. Can he pull them out of a potential death spiral right now? Otz has shown a remarkable ability to do just that in previous seasons for us.

    KU @ ISU on CBS

    I was at the game but recorded the CBS coverage of the game. After KG made the 3 at the end to go up 5 and I believe they were heading to commercial for KU timeout, Jay Wright made the comment "Look at this place. What a place to play" Thought that was fantastic.

    Was at the game with my dad. Remember it was campaign season and Jesse Jackson was in the house as he was running for president. Great game to be at.
