I don't think this is entirely accurate. Sure, St joes winning 'hurt' them last night, but it will ultimately help them as it gets them another game, this time against dayton and im pretty confident they wont drop due to a relatively high quad 2 game. Losing puts it completely out of reach...

a&m down 9 to texas with 8 to play, would potentially help as. most have a&m as another 3 seed. Texas is a worse loss than BYU, imo

I unfortunately think that a q3 loss trumps the q1 gains... need some help from those 2 mid majors to lose. The next "best" team with a q3 loss is #22 Clemson, which is a steep drop and an easy thing to point to, to drop us down a seed line.

If we were to win the tournament, a conversation could be had. Would require St johns and kentucky to drop pretty early in their tournaments. I still bet we'd be on the outside looking in.

good results for us from last night. K state went from 75->73. Hopefully a loss to Baylor means less than a win against arizona st and they stay top 75, to avoid that L at home becoming a quad 3. UCF was a huge one in that they went from >75-> 72, making that road game a quad 1(b) W, raising our...

Can Iowa State get a 2 seed?

hate to say it, but michigan state looks pretty solid on the 2 line with 2 very winnable games left in the regular season....

    Silver lining in our flop?

South Carolina 2017 was a 7 and got placed in Greenville, 1.5 hours away from Columbia. They parlayed that into a final four run.

Lewis will Play, Lard Out Vs Mizzou

am i trying to read too much into this statement.... "At this point, it is not clear what has kept the two freshmen off the court for public consumption, but Prohm did hint that it was for similar reasons."

Southwest dropping Midway, adding St. Louis in April

Yeah - one note on this. I always use this or google.com/flights, but then ALWAYS book through the airline's site. There shouldn't ever really be a difference in price and you get more assurance from booking directly, IMO. Some airlines, if booked via third parties, don't treat the customer the...

Also - Joe Buck should not be allowed to broadcast golf ever again. Fox coverage, overall, is pretty lackluster.

Gary Player on Golf Channel ripping the US Open

Yeah, I think the saving grace right now is that there are players playing it pretty well (-5). The leaders have played in the afternoon at least once, so those scores can be taken that some aren't struggling as much as others. I do expect some really hard hole placements going forward, thus...

Gary Player on Golf Channel ripping the US Open

Yeah - I'm definitely on board from the fact that, as a Pacnorthwestern, I would have preferred to see a course that hosts the open be one that highlights the lush nature of the region, but the decision to make this a links course was made 8 years ago and we have to live with it. As far as...

Gary Player on Golf Channel ripping the US Open

Not sure what you're asking - this grass is used in this specific type of course, by design. So when they decided, eight years ago, to build a links style course, they went with the fescue grass.
