    Texas Tech 10 Million Dollar Portal Season

    I’m certain that Congress would/will mess this up if they get their hands on it. Title IX or some other way to threaten university funds will give them the power they need. Otherwise, they’d have to leave the college sports and go on their own.

    New Johnny’s starting next year.

    I am completely disappointed that the hotel won’t be a Graduate Hotel. I stayed at the one in Cincinnati and it was amazing. Some might find them gaudy, but they are perfect for this location. Iowa City has one, so I guess that’s all there will be.

    With most of Fred’s teams, if you were down double digits, it was not a threat. TJ is sharpening steel with these close games. All his teams are fighters, but this year we have depth to handle the intensity to play our D and the offensive consistency to give us a chance to win any game.

    Don’t defer kickoffs

    I think deferring sets you up to have some control in the second half. It gives some predictability but you need to capitalize on the opportunity or it all goes to waste.
