    I'm excited about all home football games, enjoy going to away games when I can, and love bowl games, the Big 12, and NCAA tournaments. However, I just don't feel it for taking a week in late August to go to Europe. Perhaps it is just the fact that I enjoy so much the start of home tailgate...

    I know CW has talked on the pod about having a soft spot for lower-level staffers in sports media who are not well-treated, especially in this day of big corporate ownership.

    Yet, CF and IE staff are given incredible access to relationships and contact info they wouldn't otherwise have. I wouldn't blame CW if he had non-compete clauses in staff contracts.

    My first thoughts were about company owners with proprietary knowledge and relationships that would be lost because of this ruling. Also interesting that @ChrisMWilliams comments on his podcast were supportive of staff in sports media, even though he is a sports media owner.

    Sounds pretty cool and I know I'm in the minority . . . but I just don't get excited about a Week 0 game in Europe. I love going to away games, bowl games, and NCAA tournament games . . . so we will see if it grows on me.

    Treadmill time. Walking in the park or at the lakefront. Sitting on a balcony overlooking said park/lakefront. Airport waiting time. Play on 1.25 or 1.5. Definitely need to listen to Williams & Blum. And Kickin' It has been really good with guests like Steel Jantz and Darius Reynolds.
