being 4th in the country in penalties against

7th in the country in penalty yards

4th in the country in most turnovers

7th in the country in worst turnover margin

Look at that, see that we are still 2-0 and try not to get excited! We shore that up and we could be very good

Yea, it sure seems like the few things that are holding us back are very fixable things.

My concern is to get this corrected or we will get bit in the @.. It's not if but when if we keep making those mistakes. And I really worry about UConn-I honestly believe we are a better team than them and wouldn't necessarily have thought that 2 wks ago, but it's our first road game...

I find this encouraging because these are fixable things.

The ability of the line, QB mettle, and the intangibles to stick it out time and time again are not coachable.

we need more consistent play out of our offense-cut out the play with no fumbling when we r on the 3 yard line on our first drive. get our kickers to make the chip shots on field goals. we should have been ahead of iowa by 18 points at the end of the ballgame-thanks to jantz, darks, james white, money and to jake knott, our all america linebacker, for pulling this game out in overtime-we need to beat connecticutt and texas and upset a few more in the big 12 and rhoads should get the attention of a lot of good recruits..GO CYCLONES!!!!!!!!!!!

What it means is that we're 2-0 because of superior talent and coaching. We're going to be facing more talented teams going forward, and those mistakes need to get corrected. Those kind of mistakes aren't normally going to be winning Cyclone football.

You nailed it. ISU has shown in the first 2 games that they can drag *** for portions of games and fall behind. They have also shown that when it gets to crunch time they can rise to the challenge and get the job done. While it is great to see our team can redeem itself in the late stages of games we won't survive conference play doing that. We need to be sharp all of the time not just when we absolutely have to be.

Clean up a few things here and there and get our kicking game squared away and this team will be dangerous. Texas should be looking at the game they circled in Ames and thinking to themselves... OH ****!

I don't remember a point yesterday where we dragged ***. We came out smoking, messed up and Iowa took a lead but I never remembered feeling like we couldn't do anything. Iowa stopped us from scoring twice yesterday. Other than that, we stopped ourselves. Our offense has potential. On Friday, I got a rash of **** for thinking we would throw 31 up on the Hawks. We should have put up at least that against them. Iowa isn't good this year defensively, but they aren't horrible. I am really excited to see where we go this year.
