i was just trying to figure out which recruits mcdermott was really going after. we have our two gurards verballed with eikmeier and buckley. i assume we are really going after negedu (whether we land him or not) but who else is our main priority. there are alot of recruits for the center position like crittle, pomlee, morgan, breshers, zellar, robinson, markolf, moore, and zlovaric. there are alot of guys in this list but i dont know who we have offered to and are really going after.

Negadu is probably a top priority.

I would say it's up for grabs between Breshers and Crittle. Pomlee is scary because of his illness. If he could get over that he could be a prime timer. The rest are probably back ups alittle bit.

I've heard that Breshers is a more athletic Eric Coleman. Only stands 6'6 on a good day but has a sick vertical leap. Plus he is from a pretty rough neighborhood in California, so you know he won't get pushed around

So its going to be Jiri, Brackens, Wesley, Clark, Dodie, McIntosh, Taylor, Garret fighting for starting spots?

Good point. Forgot about him. And who knows if Cory Johnson will improve over the summer. Either way, we should have a deep team next year.

What's nice is over the next few years - we should have a significant amount of depth. Some of the guys we have now will see their playing time cut, yet they can still see minutes.

So G-Mac should be able to adjust his lineups based on who we're facing. He's done a fair amount of that this year and I anticipate it to continue happening.

Next year just may be our deepest year for a long time - both past and future. Not stud depth, yet plenty of guys that can play. Gives us a good chance to compete and be physical - without being overly worried about losing guys to foul trouble.

the way i see it, every single post player will improve greatly under GM. and i would not be suprised if next year we end up playing 5-6 guys at the post position alone with out missing a beat

We need a player like Breeshers. I Googled his name and found some great articles. He has been under the radar. He is an athletic bruiser with soft hands. They compare him to a Charles Barkley type. He would be comparable to some of those K-State athletic forwards or a Mario Boggan. The articles say that he has major hops. He plays at a big high school in LA. He would be a nice pick up with J'mison Morgan, Corbin Moore, or Ian Markloff. We need a big guy down low.

Maybe Breshers would be a good fit for ISU. I felt we've needed a bruiser forward ever since we lost Homan. Morgan's idea of recruiting paper thin post players didn't really pan out as well as he'd hoped.
