Anybody could lose their opening game. And yes that’s what I am predicting regardless of who they play. It’s called a prediction. What’s yours smartass?
I like to see a bracket before making foolish predictions. I also predict you’re 100% wrong.

Totally agree. Wasn't trying to 'prove you wrong' I just agree that this conference is a ******* mess and it's hard to say anyone underperformed because it's just hard as hell to win any game.

Truth? It's Kansas. They are gonna end up with 8 league losses. How are they not the team that underperformed?
and how can a team like Kansas, a blue blood, lack depth?

Self has forgotten how to recruit. He had NIL before NIL and relied on Adidas to get him a team. Now that things are more level, he has to go out and look for a team rather than have that team that had the route to Lawrence preprogrammed into the navigation system of their brand new car. It’s a different world and I don’t know that he’ll adapt quickly enough for Kansas fans.

I predict it’ll be easier to make predictions once the bracket is released. And I predict there will be a few major upsets nobody saw coming, with at least one double digit seed making the sweet 16.

Are you still predicting Fran to get fired in a couple weeks?

what a cluster at the top to end, but the middle of the league is crazy. two wins to finish the season could move a team from 9th to 4th or 5th. Man, I wish Milan's shot would have counted against Baylor.

Houston: @UCF and KU
ISU: BYU and @kstate
Baylor: Texas and @Tech
BYU: @ISU and OSU
KU: KSU and @Houston

so Houston drops one of those games and we go 2-0, we are co-champs?
it looks like we are the two seed unless Baylor wins two, we drop two, then we tie with Baylor.

BYU: this team I think is ISU's only bad matchup.

So you have no stones to toss out a prediction? Got it. I bet you needed to see a bracket before calling the St. Peter’s, Oral Roberts, San Diego State, FAU, VCU, and on and on and on wins and runs.

The point is I just don’t think the teams are listed are really that good, so my prediction is they lose first round. Will they all? Probably not but wouldn’t surprise me at all.

It was a valid prediction a month ago. Iowa has been playing much better lately. With that said, it’s not uncommon for new athletic directors to want to make changes to coaching staffs of their revenue producing sports. Will Goetz make the change this offseason? I don’t think this year. But it wouldn’t shock me to see Ferentz and McCaffery both out of a job within 2 years

I will also say I guarantee I am not 100% wrong as one of those teams will lose first round. So that would not be 100%. And if you think all of them will win you might want to put some money down because that will be a nice parlay payout. Bet you won’t do it though.

KU tied for 6th place in the Big 12 on March 3, you hate to see it.

Funny how they're mid a few years into everyone being able to pay their players, coincidence I'm sure.
They’re tied for 4th

Edit: Not sure why you responded with an Optimistic emoji. I was stating a fact. There are 3 teams that have a better conference record than them. Therefore, they are 4th. There are two teams tied with the same conference record which means they are tied for 4th. Now they may get a 6 seed, but that is different than position in standings.

Mixed feelings on Marquette. They’re missing players and lose at good Creighton team. Could make an argument they shouldn’t slide much. Of course we lose at #1 Houston and slide two spots so one could argue that they should too.
Marquette might be cooked. Several of my best buddies are MU grads and I’ve been on their game text thread for years. Rumor is that Kolek might be done for the season with that oblique injury. If so, they will struggle to beat good teams the rest of the way even though they put up a hell of a fight at Creighton.

CBS with the huge doubleheader today of 4 Big 10 teams nowhere near the bubble.

Probably lucky for them it's suppsoe to be nice out so not alot of people will watch anyways.

They know the marketing.

Minds have been warped into thinking the B1G is traditional must-see basketball and CBS's production is top notch and sets the mood for the NCAA tourney.

I think they are finding out that paying a 22 year old is more worth it than an 18 year old, but there is more competion.

Last thing I will say is what is the difference of having pre-bracket guesses and post-bracket reveal guesses? That’s the fun of sports. Even after you see the matchups, by the end of the first round we all look “foolish” anyway.
