These two games intrigue me....
4A: Bondurant-Glenwood
3A: Webster City-Creston

Creston is #1, but Webster City has a beast running game. I think the weather being nice favors creston , because WC wants to make it ugly.

Bondurant is without two of their best players for the rest of the year (two of the best players in the state including an ISU recruit), so their offense and Defense have completely been affected the past couple games. Giving the edge to Glenwood here, but Bondurant IMO is the best team in 4A if those two players are suited.

Late to the party here, but my nephew plays for Creston and Webster City scored a TD on each of their first 3 possessions to take a 19-0 lead in that game. 50-8 in favor of Creston after that, what a wild game.

Why do they make 8 man start at 10 when there aren't night games? Seems like a 1 and 4 game would be fine.

That would be a UNI decision. They probably have something scheduled in the late afternoon or evening that prevents 8-man from going later.

So to stream it it looks like you have to pay for it this year? Thought in the past it was free to stream.

idk if you live out of state or under a rock but this has been a big deal recently

ihssn recently decided they were going to charge for state sporting events

iahsaa has come out against this and has no say here because they contract it out to the ihssn.

ACGC/Madrid was a battle. Madrid 21 ACGC 14.

ACGC was driving towards the end of the game. They run the old school wing T offense so they were eating the clock and moving the ball 4:5 yard chunks at a time. Got down to about the 20 yard line with 1:30 to go down 7 and tried to throw the ball (they have like 10 attempts on the year) and it was tipped at the line and intercepted by Madrid.

Great game though

I'll be shocked if Madrid beats Brit. I'm predicting Brit vs Woodbury

I believe Klay Edwards has a son playing for Winfield Mt Union
Correct, committed to Army.
WMU has some dudes.
A couple D1 recruits on an 8-man squad is huge. Also have a LB/RB that's committed to Iowa.

Last visit to the dome was in 1999. They were the laughing stock of Southeast Iowa for the majority of the 2000's - I recall being 50 pointed many times prior to the running clock rule.

This seems like something that should just be aired on IPTV. $20 is a lot in the streaming world.

Man shout out to Bishop Garrigan coming in unranked and knocking off #5, #3 and now #1 to reach the Finals. Quite the run. Would have thought Winfield-Mount Union would run away with the class.
