Brock needs to better. Absolutely. But my god look the niner defense is just bad.
Everyone talks about Purdy but their D has fallen off a cliff after the Dallas game.
When he feels he needs to take it all on himself that’s where he struggles. This team needs to step up as a whole.
Not having Trent Williams has been huge. Seems like he's feeling so much more pressure.

This nails it perfectly. Brock is good when he's just one of the pieces of the puzzle... he can't be relied on to make plays by himself. If he's not getting help from the defense, WR's, TE's, OL, etc... then he's toast... but so are most QB's.
He's just not a QB that can go out and win games himself.
thought worse case this year was SF losing 3 games all year. not three in a row. and they still have to go to Philly.
On the bright side this week we can still troll the KC fan that was furious when someone compared him to Mahomes, since they just got run out of the stadium by Denver.
Sure, how many more bad games can he afford? I didn't realize they had a bye next week. They'll give him a shot with their full lineup against Jacksonville. If that goes as poorly as these last 3 games have gone he's in real trouble.
Darnold has been terrible during his career so it's certainly possible any potential benching wouldn't last long
This might be true if he was the only one on that team playing poorly. But it’s understandable how badly you guys want him to crash and burn.
Everyone in the 49er fandom is calling for firing Wilks. They’re talking about the Defense as well as Purdy.
Check out the records, Chiefs are still 6-2 and have a 3-game lead in the West, while the 49ers are 5-3 and tied for first in their division.
