Another year of hating the current playoff system. There is no good reason that 3 of the top 4 teams in the west need to face each other in the first 2 rounds. The Wild sit in 3rd and should have a chance to get home ice for at least a round but if the playoffs were today, they would be on the road.


I hate the whole rivalry angle, it just feels so forced. Let rivalry start because teams face each other in the conference finals. Wild vs Avs would be more fun in the WCF not round 2. There is no reason the 1st wild card should have a better path in the west that any of the top 3 teams in the central.
