Castro has 2 more years of arbitration, so he will be back.

If they don't spend more, there isn't a lot they can do. Low end SP and RP and hope for a hit like the Tigers and Royals did.

If they stay healthy and the rookies pan out, their Rotation could be good.

Varland as a full time RP might help the bullpen.

They can't have played worse recently than my O's. Thankful they had won a lot early. I'm not excited about facing the Tigers

Maybe Falvey and Levine should be the ones to go instead.
I'm not educated enough on the topic to know how much blame they are due, but to me, the lack of money essentially forces them to shop in the scratch and dent aisle. Those players are cheaper because of issues with them. I will take them to task for not getting good returns on some recent trades, but free agent signings I guess I'm willing to cut them some slack.

Anyone know what the new TV deal means for us in Iowa who aren’t “in market” or in the red on the map they released according to that report?

I was able to watch BSN on Fubo this year, despite Polk county not being colored in on that map. I *think* even if you can't get access to Twins.TV because you're "out of market" based on that map you will be able to see the games through MLB.tv. Since that gives you access to all out of market games. Iowa fell into the black hole of "in market but incredibly painful to access BSN" so MLB.tv wasn't an option before.

It seems idiotic if this becomes "I'm outside Twins.TV coverage area, but subject to MLB.tv blackouts". But, that wouldn't be the first time I've thought "Hi, dying sport. I have American dollars. I'd like to give you my American dollars in exchange for watching my team."

It's probably going to take some trial and error next season to find out if you can access Twins.TV or not

If things worked logically, outside the red counties would be “out of market” and Twins games would be available on MLB tv.

But since we’re talking MLB here, they’ll probably keep the Twins blacked out in the whole state, and maybe just for fun start blacking out the Reds and Guardians, too.

Well, that and if you want Wolves/Lynx you'll have to find a way to get Bally or whatever the heck they will be called after their bankruptcy thing is settled.

What a piss poor roll out, though.

Hey! We have this new thing we’re offering. Also, we’re not going to explain how to access it! TTYL!

What are thoughts in here on the offseason for the Twins? Saw Royce Lewis may have taken a dig at Correa, so I wasn’t sure if they’d be looking to get rid of one of them

It’s a ******* mess. On so many levels. The more you dig into it, the bigger the mess is.

They probably don't know yet. Just got decided a couple days ago and they wouldn't have any games until maybe spring training.
