I would say less than zero if possibleWhat are the chances we get Jayden Quaintance? His knee surgery might not interest teams as much. Iowa State could maybe use him, although we do have Blake Buchanan now. DO you think we could get him?
ACLs are usually a 2-year injury in basketball. I don’t think I’d take him because he could just re-enter the portal gain after next year’s season of rehab. Unless you’re confident you could keep him for 2 yearsWhat are the chances we get Jayden Quaintance? His knee surgery might not interest teams as much. He’s averaged just over 30 mpg for his career and that average is pretty damn consistent. If I had to guess, with his health in mind, I’d imagine we’d like to get under that if possible
I agree with watching his minutes but 22-24 is a long ways from 30. A lot of bad can happen in those 6-8 extra minutes he’s not on the floor. There isn’t a coach in the country that would play one of his best three players under 30 minutes. Injuries are a part of every sport. Just gotta let ‘em play sometimesHe averaged 29.5 this season. My assumption is that he'd average less in the non-conference and more in conference play and if March is the only thing that matters (assuming that you get to the dance in the first place), we need him to get there as healthy as possible to make a run.
Cardinal & Gold Clones handle obviously already taken….What are the chances we get Jayden Quaintance? His knee surgery might not interest teams as much. Iowa State could maybe use him, although we do have Blake Buchanan now. DO you think we could get him?
doubt we'd go after another forward but interesting. solid offensive rebound %

Exactly….. brings up a question I’ve thought about a few times, I’ll ask it here in case someone knows… because I honestly don’t have any idea what it might be.It's so weird to see a somewhat obscure college player from a mid-major having his name mentioned with an agent.
He shot almost 62% on two-point attempts this year. Granted a lot of those are close attempts at the rim, but that's still really really good!I thought Lipsey’s shot actually looked really decent this year.
Or maybe all the broken bones just happened to line up in the right places.
No, yes.Are we out on Rohde? I don't see any more comments on him, did he come for a visit even?
From the Wisconsin boards, it sounds like it will come down to whether Wisconsin has the role he’s looking forAre we out on Rohde? I don't see any more comments on him, did he come for a visit even?
I don't understand why the new AD at ASU brought Bobby Hurley back for another year. They are going to be absolutely terrible next year. And there was no excitement around the team this year. ISU's women's team averaged 2000 more fans per home game than ASU's men's team. I heard they wanted to save money on the buy out and wait for when Hurley's contract is up after next season, but they are going to hit rock bottom.
Was here Su/Mo, in Wisconsin yesterday/today.Are we out on Rohde? I don't see any more comments on him, did he come for a visit even?

True. I have ties to ASU through five sons/stepsons who have attended ASU, one of which played baseball and another who's currently on their club soccer team, so they are my second team I root for after ISU. Going to the ISU/ASU basketball game gave me mixed feelings. It was cool to see half the crowd in Cardinal and Gold taking over with chants of "Cyclone - Power", but it was also sad to see such little support for Sun Devils. I like the new AD (so far). He's going to make the baseball team a bigger priority, which I like. That's the one team I can root for since ISU doesn't have an NCAA baseball team. Baseball at ASU is in the same spot wrestling seems to be at ISU. Both programs have a great history of being a perennial power, but have fallen in recent years and are trying to get back there. Also, both programs have elite facilities and a strong fan base. The ASU athletic department is a HUGE financial mess. Like, make-Barta-look-smart bad.
Didn't they just spend a ****ton on their football roster this past season? The ASU athletic department is a HUGE financial mess. Like, make-Barta-look-smart bad.
Don't sleep on Killyan Toure, either. This is an old video to boot. Kid is fast as lightning. Enjoy!
Thanks for the response. I liked Heise's game all year, I wanted to see him shoot more consistently from 3 the 1st 2/3s of the season but I loved his effort. I think he will shoot a lot better next year, it seems like it takes guys a year in the system sometimes to shoot consistently. I remember back to Kantrail Horton and the effort he gave his first year, even though he couldn't seem to shoot consistently.I suspect Rhode is over valuing himself. The Portal is littered with guys just like him or better in my opinion. Tall guys are making the meat of the money in the portal. Centers and Power forwards with some elite guards getting some pay. I don't think Rhode is anymore Elite than Heise to be honest. In fact end of the year Heise is super solid in that spot.
The lasting memory i have of Tim Barnes is that missed layup against TOE in the NIT. That was him, wasnt it?The middle-aged fans around here may remember Tim Barnes, who was once described to me by someone close to the team as "has a jet up his a$$". Toure seems to resemble that description!
