It is now a month from the Cardinal and Gold scrimmage, 5 weeks until Drake scrimmage and 6 weeks until the first game (in Ohio).
What are you looking forward to most this season? Any picks for a player to be a great surprise? Any front line combo you look forward to?

Biggest question to answer is whether or not Gonzalez is back to 100% after her knee injury and if she can elevate her play from what she displayed as a FR when she was All-Conference.
IIRC, Duckworth did play in Spring scrimmages so I am assuming she is good to go and back to 100%.
The two incoming FR OHs, Bettis and Goolsby, are both highly regarded and one or both may be in the OH rotation. And then you have Wachholz and Ti'a also competing for spots in the OH rotation.
The MB competition for the two rotation spots should be good between McCune, Jackson and Hendricks-Walker. I think McCune is an all-conference type talent but needs to stay healthy.
Brandt is definitely an all-conference type setter with her all-round skills as is VanGrop at Libero.
So if everyone is healthy, I think this team can compete for a conference title (which CJL has yet to win).
