Tickets purchased for tomorrow night for this. Reviews are out and they are better than I hoped for and I was thinking they would be good overall.

Several saying it’s the best of the three which if true is crazy because the first one is an all timer.
What did you think?

I've heard wildly different options so far. From best movie this year to worst.
Trust me it's bad...

It started out reasonable enough with survivors devolving to medieval weapons, agriculture, etc., to survive. But somehow we end up with a bunch of dudes in spotless track suits, who all look like Karl from Die Hard, jumping around and killing the infected with a comination of ninja moves and parkour.

Honestly, that sounds amazing!

We both really liked it! It's not better than the original but again, that is an all-timer. I do see why some don't like it but what it's saying about society and class etc is actually pretty valid. It also somehow hit me in this movie that they aren't actually zombies. They aren't dead. They don't die and come back to life. They are still humans, just infected with a rage virus.

I really liked most of it. There were some dumb decisions by the main characters but that is pretty standard for a horror movie. However, the final scene did not belong in this movie and it has me fearing what they will do with future movies.

Soooooo. I guess if you’re from the UK and you see that group of people at the end, when you see them as an audience you’ll recognize them and your thought is ‘oh ****. Don’t go with them’

It’s apparently a guy that was incredibly famous in the 2000s that ended up being an incredibly awful and disgusting guy. Like really bad.

Put me down for one of the best of the year. If you're just looking for a popcorn zombie movie you'll be very disappointed, but if you're looking for interesting story and characters you'll love it.

The emotional swing in the last 20 minutes is wild. A movie moment I'll remember for a long time.

Yep. I liked it overall but the 2nd half got pretty dumb.
