So I need one more class for next semester and my advisor told me to pick any 300 level class in the entire school. Anyone know of some fun/easy classes to take? Thanks in advance!

if you're a history person at all, picking one of those might have pretty interesting course material. My husband took Russian Military History, I did American Family History (sounds lame but was really, really fascinating- the professor was actually part of Ken Burns' The Dust Bowl interviews). You'll have a couple big papers in those higher-level ones though.

I'd take Management 310 which is entrepreneurial management. It has great stuff to know if you ever want to start your own business and is very easy. You don't have to be a business major.

I was in that situation one semester so took a women's studies class thinking there would be a lot of hot chicks... I was wrong.

I second Management 310: I took it Monday nights for 3 hours...and never stayed the whole time. Was pretty easy to escape with a B+/A- without much hassle I remember.

My son liked some military history class; not sure if it had a prereq. If you are into music, he also loved history of rock 'n roll but you have to suffer through music listening prereq first.

Whatever 300 level class you select, you need to walk in on the first day at yell at out, "This is Sparta!"

Wasn't that what 300 was about, taking 300 level classes or did I watch the wrong movie?

If you can get into it, Geol 324, Energy and the Environment, is ridiculously easy for a 300 level class. Lectures are straight forward, all exams are multiple choice, and past-years exams are provided for reference.

I have heard that should be taken pass/fail? Actually kind of difficult to get a good grade. Is that correct?

Had a few friends who have taken it in the past two years and that is what they have said. Also, unless you are at least a 5th year senior good luck getting in. It's usually one of the first classes to fill.

I'm currently taking it and have a 95%. The exams are taken online at your home computer now, so you can take them open note/book. If he were to switch back to taking exams in class without notes/book it would be extremely difficult.
