I'd say Shenahan is the luckiest person on the 49ers team so far. That was a bad decision to run another play with 7 seconds and no time outs. He lucked out. I also think Dallas out coached him that half.

Purdy needed to get rid of it quicker. Hey, it worked out though.

They do, but it’s very difficult because Shanahan’s playcalling is so damn conservative. They need to open up the playbook a little bit and that will open up the run game
