IMO, the biggest coup of his recruiting class.

My wife asked tonight how well he was recruited. I said honestly, I didn't really follow it, but I guarantee you, there isn't a coach in the country right now that did not wish he was on his team.

Izzo didn't recruit him at all. Why, I couldn't explain. Michigan did recruit him, but Derrick Walton committed first and they didn't want two point guards in one class. Not sure what other schools looked at him, but I think he was ours if he didn't go to MSU or U of M.
