So I bought my Roku Ultra yesterday, and I was adding the numerous FAST channels to my favorites (Big XII Studios, TNA, Swerve Combat, etc.), and I noticed a "90210" channel. It literally streams 90210 24 hours a day. Right now it's on Season 4. In fact, I have it streaming as I type this.
I loved the show as a kid (though never went out of my way to watch it), but decided to watch a few episodes.
With no hesitation I bought the entire series on DVD for $80 (the original 2008 box sets/printings)
My god, it's even better than I remember and is SO 90's. I will always, and forever be stuck in the 90's (the 80's will always be 10 or 20 years ago as long as I live, and you will never convince me otherwise).
Anyway, what are your memories of the show? I stopped "watching" after Season 5 (again, I watched if I caught it while channel surfing on Wednesdays).
As a kid, I always wanted to be David (Brian Austin Green), but with Brandon's hair (though I got the ear ring due to Luke Perry), and I had a MASSIVE crush on Andrea (Gabrielle Carteris), and a huge man crush on Jason Priestley (still do).
I can't wait to binge the s*** out of the DVDs once I receive them, and will be living vicariously through them. I still wish I could have been a Teen in the 90's, or ideally in my early 20's (I was born in 1986). It was how I imagined my High School years going (though without as much drama), though I did get a brief taste of it for a few months my Senior year in 2004/2005 as I finally had a "group" like the show, and was seeing/dating one of the females of our group. I also feel like I will be able to relate to the show quite a bit given my life experiences, and am now in my late 30's.
