Jim Walden was both head coach and offensive coordinator while at ISU, and Tom Osborn filled both roles at Nebraska every year he was there.
A Head coach/offensive coordinator is not exactly revolutionary

CMC wasn't happy with our Offense the last two years. He expects more. If he has to call the plays to get us where he wants us to be, more power to him. CMC can handle it. Look for Coach Hofher to handle more administrative duties (He is a former Div.1 HC) to free up some of CMC's time to be more actively involved in the Offensive game plan.......
