You have the false assumption that BU landed recruits right off the bat. It took FIVE years of building the program to get the first contested hot prospect. I can go recruit by recruit if you want but it didn't happen overnight.

1b- There was no coverup of a murder. It was a coach covering up that he independently paid tuition for a walk on player. Bliss was so on his own with it that the two players he paid, the other one he did it for didn't even know. He had thought he was on scholarship.

You overrate the talent on last years team and ignore the fact that if even one or two games break the other way we are in the dance.

You're a complete idiot if you think Self or Hoiberg would have gone to the NIT with Jackson, Austin and Jefferson. 100% total moron if you think they miss the dance with that talent. Your coach is not good at coaching.

I watched the game, but didn't see the gatorade antics. But at this point into the season (6 games), if I had saw it I would have thought it to be rather stupid.

Running a standard return isn't running it up. If we'd thrown in a wrinkle like a reverse or throwback pass I could understand the hate but it was simply a standard play. It's like not stopping a dive play. It's the expected call and its not like we ran trick plays in the second half.

You don't need to explain anything. We just have some fans that feel like we need to be babied. We have some dumb f'in fans. If we want to be in a BCS conference then we need to act like it, not cry when things don't go our way. That game was embarrassing, but in no way is that Baylors problem. They played their game and did it well. We gained less yards than Wofford. Stop being a ***** and just realize we sucked big time.

Great game by Baylor and I hope they can make a run. We came and tailgated and were treated very well. Met Nick Florence's dad and he was a very nice guy with some great food too.

Fans were very respectful and most thanked us for coming (before the game). Would love to go back when the new stadium is built.

You are a complete idiot for speaking in absolutes on things that you don't know the slightest bit about.

We appreciate being underestimated though. Drew has won more than he's lost at one of the most moribund programs in the history of NCAA basketball. Whether he can coach or not, we've been to two Elite Eights and were a hair away from a Final Four. Our terrible coach has outperformed your boy genius at every turn last I've checked.

Oh, and I fully expect at least another Sweet 16 this year, and an Elite Eight isn't out of the question again. We'll see once the season starts, but for now, it's still football season.

I really expect better from ISU fans. I've always considered you guys to be knowledge and reasonable, but unfortunately it looks like there's a large faction of you that are neither of those.

How does one "be knowledge"?

Scott still hasn't won in Hilton. I don't see how Baylor has beat us at every turn when Fred is 4-1 against Scott and actually made the tourney. We tied you for 3rd two seasons ago and finished ahead of you this year. Now who sounds knowledgeable?

Hoiberg is 4-2 vs. you guys. Bye, bye, now.

I have a quick question to the Cyclones fans that were in attendance... Was our attendance up to your standards and was our tailgate scene good enough for you?

Those seem to be the two hottest topics of hate for Baylor on this board...

Hey thats all we have over you now so of course we are going to talk about those relatively unimportant things.

Good post, lots of ISU bitter in this thread, some must have eaten bushels of sour grapes on Sunday.

Should of stuck with the football smack. Scott Drew only rivals Travis Ford for worst coach in the league. A great "recruiter" but just a god awful basketball coach.

Bill Self would of won a NC if he was coaching Baylor in 2010. 2011- probably not as no one was getting past Kentucky. Point is, Baylor consistently has under-preformed in basketball with the talent they have. Also, your loser has not out coached our boy wonder at every turn...he has a 1-4 record against our boy wonder, with a lot more talent none the less.

Take a look at our 2011 schedule. ISU would of had 13 straight loses if it wasn't for Baylor. That Baylor win was sandwiched in between 12 loses. Your awesome coach with a ton of talent got blown out by a first year coach with no talent.

We are sore losers. We take a 64 point beating and turn it into "Your bball coach sucks."

Drew has been to 2 Elite 8's. Could he have done more with the talent? Probably. Do I think Fred is a better coach? Yes.

That's neither here nor there. The Baylor fan arguing is backing up his guy, that's fine.

Are ISU fans that butthurt that we need to say "Bill Self would win a NC with your team, your bball coach can't even get past the Elite 8!".

Not butt hurt at all. I have been saying this for years, Scott Drew is trash. It has nothing to do with the rape we received from Baylor Saturday night.

This site has turned into a twin of the EMAW site. Lets hope some people got their ointment this morning to relieve the butt pain they feel.

The Baylor guy was being reasonable, and then the Fanatic Attack Squad came out. This same bunch would argue that Hoiberg would never leave for Duke or North Carolina and would curse and attack anyone who suggested it. And yet when Baylor guy says he does not think Briles would leave, that could never happen.

Personally I think Briles would consider Texas or A & M (I think their coach ends up at USC) but I also could see him staying. And maybe that is what scares the attack squad the most.

I was just responding to Scott beating Fred "at every turn".

So if someone had said Sosa, McGwire, and Bonds might be on steroids during the home run record insanity that would be unreasonable? That's how questionable Baylor hoops is. There is literally no reason for them to pull the recruits they have been against blue blood competition. Their horrible coach took a pre season Big 12 POTY and landed him on the second team and NIT while he had NBA talent surrounding him. That is just horrible.

I think I was VERY reasonable to say I could see how their football success could be legit though. I even said I wanted them to win a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. There are multiple Clone fans in the thread wishing a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on a team that just beat us by over 60 points, that's kind of the definition of gracious loser. The ostriches regarding Scott Drew's crooked program are the only shred of unreasonable in the thread.

Also how awesome is it that an ignorant Baylor fan thinks 1-4 against Hoiberg and finishing behind him in the conference the last two years is "owning" him. That's some quality entertainment I provided us all.
