How many more years will Saban coach do you think? Who would be his replacement?

I think he'll keep going as long as the recruiting doesn't tail off. I can't really see him doing anything else. He doesn't strike me as a retirement kind of personality and I don't know if he'd be happy doing studio work.

The one and only correct answer.
It would be different if he's a VT, UNC, Arizona alum. But he's from Birmingham, went to Bama, played there, coached there.
If he isn't the next coach there, Alabama failed big time.

Those are good questions. You wonder if he is going to be somebody like Bowden or Paterno and coach until he is 80 or so? With a guy that competitive who lives and breathes football it is hard for them to hang it up.
I imagine they will swing for the fences with the hire, but it will be extremely difficult to live up to the expectations he has set there.

You want to be the 2nd coach after Saban retires, 1st doesn't have a chance just like when Bryant retired.

again the one and only correct answer

he will be expected to go home again. The pull is strong. Frost left a currently better job, and turned down much better current jobs, to go home.

UCF wasn't a better job than Nebraska.
