Is this an anti-scalping rule for the area around the stadium?

How can they prevent someone from selling and transferring a ticket to someone they don't know rather than just transferring a ticket to someone in their group?

Can they rescind sold tickets if they see them on a third party site?
I doubt they can stop this entirely. They can probably prohibit resale on third party sites and - to your point - prohibit scalpers outside the stadium.

But if two people from my group are unable to make the trip and I committed those two tickets to someone here on CF and took a Venmo payment for it there is almost surely nothing they could do.

In essence, that’s what I’m already doing with my group of friends I bought tickets for.

We have reserved our stuff for the different days we are in Ireland! Some highlights:

- Gentleman’s Tea - a dude‘s equivalent of afternoon high tea
- A walking tour of Dublin the day we get in
- A day trip to Cliffs of Moher and Galway
- A day trip to Belfast and Giant’s Causeway
- St Patrick’s Cathedral tour
- A boat tour of the Howth area

I have ancestors who are of the family that used to inhabit Howth Castle, so I am trying to figure out if we should go to that or not.

What kind of side activities do people have planned? Am I missing anything that we should add? I was debating the book of Kells, but my husband wasn’t super interested.

Skip the Book of Kells and/or St. Patrick's and book a tour of Kilmainham Gaol.

This is super helpful! I had seen that in Atlas Obscura, and was curious if it was worth it! I am going to get that booked now!

Thank you SO much.

We got our tickets and our kids first Iowa State game will be in prime seats in Dublin. They don't know how lucky they are.

We have a few days in Dublin and a few days in Belfast. Last time we were there we went to the West Coast and id recommended just driving and see where you end up as it's stunningly beautiful and different than anything you've seen around here

Anyone else thinking about making the trip solo? Just based off some quick research I might be able to pull most of the travel off with credit card points, which is tempting
This is exactly what I'm doing with American Airlines credit card points. Paid $54 round trip, though my outbound flight is to London. Staying at a hostel in central Dublin to really keep the price down

We thought about taking our son, but that long of a plane ride for a 6 year old would be rough. So him and baby sister will be staying with the grandparents for the week.

We made a week long trip to Ireland a couple years back and I would suggest taking a little more time with Galway and Cliffs of Moher. Galway was my favorite city when we visited and there is quite a lot to explore. IF you plan to drive, I'd say to spend a night in Galway, then make a trip to Cliffs of Moher the next day. Travel takes a bit longer than expected.

I’m attending a conference in Europe in March, and they told us about needing a “visitor in transit visa” if we were transferring in London. You might want to look into that.

Wound up getting two seats in section 140, down in the corner. Possibly close to the action, but most importantly, my wife won’t have to hike up a lot of steps and then up and down constantly to visit the ladies room.

I think I'll be okay, I'm staying a couple days in London including visiting a friend. From my understanding, the UK and Ireland have open borders with each other, as neither are in the Schengen area. Will be looking into it though, thank you!

Thank you so much - that's hugely helpful! I saw that Galway has a cathedral, in particular, that looks amazing? I can't wait to see all of it, I have mostly stayed in cities in most of my travels outside of the country, so this will be a great opportunity to actually see the country!

Ticket availability:
Sections 103-107 sold out except 3 in 107
Sections 304-307 sold out
Lowest price $195: Only 22 tickets remain
Otherwise: $375, $295, & $245 tickets remain in end zones and upper sections
Today, K-State opened up their tickets for public sale. They only had 4-tickets in the 100 level, maybe 150-tickets in the 300 level, and lots of tickets in the 500-level.
