What a waste of talent. Way to dream big.
Hard to knock a kid who wants to play for his dad.
I see a lot of similarities in AJ Green and Allen Lazard. Both had/have opportunities at better/more prestigious programs but chose the school they grew up cheering for. Lazard will only play in 1 or 0 bowls in his career but will be remembered as an ISU legend. Same goes for Green only playing in a NCAA tournament or two and maybe a few nationally televised games a year, but he'll be a 4 year starter and will always be remembered for being a 4 star top 100 kid and choosing the Panthers.
All that being said, I still would've liked to see Green chose ISU but much like I understand and appreciate Allens reasons for choosing ISU, I get why hes going to UNI.
A little surprised how many people with the 'he gets to play with his dad' line.
Did anyone here choose college based on the opportunity to get to see their parent(s) everyday?
There was literally a college across the street from my parents house. I could throw a baseball and hit the dorms. You better believe that was on my short list of " never even taking a visit".A little surprised how many people with the 'he gets to play with his dad' line.
