If he goes, he gets the best wishes from. I never worry about it - life is too short to worry about this kind of things.

I always learn from my own experience: I used to work for a giant public company (billions in revenue) but everytime market became unfavorable, we had mandatory vacation, salary freeze, etc.
I moved to smaller company and I can say I enjoy the environment where I don’t have to worry of knee jerk reactions. But I understand everyone is different - I know someone who mentioned that he spent 15 years in his company (a huge and well known one) and survived 10 mass layoffs.
Let’s enjoy and appreciate CMC! Don’t sweat and waste your energy for these speculations because at the end of the day, he will decide what he wants to do.

I still feel like I would be shocked if USC was the place that pulled Campbell away. Not even close to his recruiting grounds and really kind of goes against everything he’s preached for years. Going to USC would be the antithesis of building something.
I’d be pretty upset with MC on that if he went and did. It would scream not practicing what he preaches, at all.

I wouldn’t feel that way had he left for an NFL job or maybe an Ohio State, Michigan job that seems to fit what he wants to do.

If they are throwing $8-9M at him, he should cash the check. If he leaves, he leaves with us in a better place than he found us. Look at that stadium and tell me if that happens without Campbell. He doesn’t owe anyone anything other than his family.

Anyone who says otherwise is foolish.
