Some of people posting today about the great win yesterday are the same ones that had been moaning about how bad the Cyclones looked the past few weeks. Sports fans are a curious breed, I have been known to go off the deep end myself on occasion. Enjoy the win and keep things in perspective in the future when things are not going well for ISU.

It is just part of being a passionate fan of a sports team. You experience the ups and downs and emotional swings right along with the team as the season goes along. I would concerned if everyone was just even keeled all year. There are going to be really high highs (yesterday) and really low lows (the two weeks prior).

I agree with the OP. I won't say anything negative about our staff. What bothers me is the people that are questioning our coaches after a loss and congratulating them after a win. Pick one side and stay on it. Of course there are going to be highs and lows, but you can't change your opinion on the staff week after week. They have proven to us that they know how to coach. Go Cyclones!

Duh!
There are elements of the ISU fan base that are bi-polar. Life is easier if you keep yourself more level headed. Trust in this staff and players and get ready for a roller coaster ride as they build this program.

In the advice to Vikings fans from former Minnesota head coach, "Enjoy the season."
