I just confirmed it with the McDonald's drive up window clerk on Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. He said that Rickey's attorney was in the drive up, ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, and said that Rick got the job. The McDonald's employee passed this onto me since he saw an ISU logo on my car....and then he gave me incorrect change for a $5 order.
People at work are starting to wonder why I am laughing histarically....thanks *******!
Nah, you think McD's would allow an EIU grad to handle money???? They would've been inside wiping off tables, scrubbing toilets, or if they were lucky, maybe unfolding Happy Meal boxes.
i heard this rumor a few weeks ago through a credible source, but only that neuheisal's agent had contacted JP about the position. have not heard anything since, but i also haven't asked him since i figured it would never happen (kind of like iowa ever winning a national championship)

My source says that Jamie Pollard himself will take over as Head Coach of the football program. It will be announced on Monday at 2:16pm at Jack Trice Stadium. Pollard is selling tickets to this announcement for $43.17 per adult ticket and $62.86 for kids. Hillside seats will be $87.39. Pre-selling of tickets went on sale this morning...as of 1:42pm today, 48,000 tickets have been sold. So get yours now.
I have a very reliable source: my best friend and he likes Pollard very much. He told me all of this and I believe him 100%.

Don't tell anyone but I heard from the cemetary maintenance man in Beaver, IA that they're going to dig up Joe Pa's bones from his grave and prop him up on the sideline like a scarecrow to coach the Clones next year. They might also put the old Cy mascot head on his skull to protect it from decay if it rains. Oh wait, this just in, I guess Joe Pa isn't dead yet. Oops, my bad.
