Call it a hunch, but being that he went to hawkeye football camp and is from the east side of the state I'm just guessing you are looking at a future hok

The Hawks have been passing on guys like this lately, preferring to go after higher rated recruits from PA and NJ. If he's good enough he will probably get an ISU offer before Iowa gets back to him. Iowa would love it if he spurned and ISU offer and walked on though.

Guys like this? Based on his junior year honors, stats, size, and speed, I'd say he'll be one of the top players in the state of Iowa this year. U of I ALWAYS gets these guy. To me, he looks like Tyler Sash 2.0.

Would Sash the high schooler get an offer this summer?

I bet he would. He wasn't a highly touted recruit, but I still think he was a 3 star and its not like Iowa is reeling in a whole lot of 5 and 4 stars. They still need 3 star guys

6'1" and will be 200-15 lbs in college=big enough to play safety in big 12

He is a tad slow on that 4.56 40 time but not by much like .06 which is nothing if he had a bad day or headwind or a butterfly flapped its wings. If he can play ball thats more important to me.

I missed his weight in the beginning and I was praying that when I went back it had a 2 in the front because I think he has the instincts to be a pretty solid LBer. He still could but 40 lbs or so would be a lot to ask. He could come in and play SS though. He seems to have very good instincts and tackling ability. Those things are also very important. I wouldn't see a problem with offering. Not a huge upside but a good enough player, I think, to provide depth for 2-3 years maybe see the starting lineup at some point. Mike O'Connell is who I would compare him to. Pretty good instincts and tackling, just maybe doesn't have the physical tools yet.

I am in Timmys class at ahs and I and everyone else thats friends with him say that he would choose Iowa State over Iowa anyday. He is a big ISU fan. Also Timmy is a very good player, everyone at school compares him to SASH, although he is already a bit bigger than Sash. He has GREAT hands and is very fast and very good on his feet. just two weeks ago in the Burlington game, Timmy had 4 touchdowns, two PICK SIXS and then 2 offensive receptions in the endzone. He has played every down so far this year as a WR on offense, FS on defense and returner on kick offs.

On kick offs so far this year,
-Burlington game
-two returns of over 50 yards
-Bettendorf game (RIVAL GAME)
-opening kick off Kilfoy returned for 60+ yards
-another kick off he returned for 50+ yards.
Assumption has alot of talent in there DB's and Safeties, with 3 players having 2 interceptions each so far in the first 3 games. Timmy Kilfoy and Patrick Smith are seniors. and then Jake Gervase who is a very fast sophomore who made two interceptions in the Bettendorf game.

I would love to see kilfoy in a cyclone jersey next year when im at every cyclone home game in the student section!!!!
