Anyone else going to the Alumni Association event in Cedar Falls on April 30th?

Saw that Nate Loenser from the MBB coaching staff was going to be the speaker. Are these things worth going to? I've never been and it seems like it could be interesting.

I'm planning on being there. I've been to some of the game watches for the Black Hawk County Alumni club, but never the more formal meetings/events. I hope it's good! If nothing else, there will be good food and drinks, and it should be great to hear Nate back in his hometown representing the bball program!

I'm going and have been in the past. They're usually very good and you get almost a full meal for the price. Should be a good time to hear someone from the MBB team speak. The wine guy they brought in from New York last year was fantastic.

It was a great night. Nate is an outstanding young man and it's obvious he bleeds cardinal and gold. Good turnout and good information (that Nate said we couldn't put on message boards).
