If you're bored to death, there's an open MBB practice before the game.

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Kansas State men's basketball team will host an open scrimmage on Saturday afternoon beginning at 3:45 p.m., CT at Bramlage Coliseum prior to the Iowa State football game.

Fans can enter the arena through the Northwest or Northeast entrances with the doors to Section 4-5-6 on the West side and Section 18-19-20 on the East side opening at 1:30 p.m., CT. Admission is free.

Tailgating in Manhattan is the closest thing I've found to tailgating in Ames. Good atmosphere, mostly friendly home crowd tailgaters. Outside of ISU playing like dog **** there for 2 decades+, its a fun away game.

We're leaving Colorado on Saturday morning before the game. We'll be in section 21. Wife and MIL will wear purple and my daughter and I will be in red. We're trying to find a parking lot to tailgate with other fans but it's a little hard to coordinate unless you're pulling into the lot together.

Taking the scenic drive down through the Flint Hills & arrive mid-afternoon. Get around at my pace but recent back/ hip issues may be problematic if I have to walk more than a mile. Read through your parking guide. Sometimes local Shriners, Vets, etc. have guys in golf carts hauling folks for a donation. Do you know if any of these lots provide this service? Ames runs a bus service called CyRide on game day. Manhattan have a similar service? Thanks in advance.

I don't know those answers. I suggest you call 785-532-5582 which is the number for the ticket office. They will help you.
