Anyone notice Caleb Grill's back?

The taunting just seemed annoying to me. Why let them back in the game if they called a technical?

The announcers mentioned the back multiple times, I didn’t really notice anything happen to cause injury.

Caleb is quickly approaching "I hate that ******* guy" status.

He's pretty much hit the whole checklist now --

1.) White
2.) Good shooter
3.) In-your-face attitude
4.) Talks a lot of smack
5.) Bad haircut
6.) Been in school approximately forever

Yep, he's our own Brady Morningstar/Keiton Paige/Phil Forte/Matt Mooney now.
You missed #7 - "under 6 ft tall"

Another site said he was cramping up. Good news (albeit still painful for him) if so.
Looked like back spasms to me which, if you've never had them, are miserable and can take several days to fully recover from.

Grill being young and strong (and surrounded by professional therapists) helps a lot but I guarantee you he's not moving too fast this morning. The next day is always the worst because the muscles have all tightened up over night but are still prone to spasming.

I mean, how freaking stupid was it to not call a timeout there. That guy has no business coaching CBB if he can't even figure out when to call a timeout at Hilton.

What was funny is that TJ called a timeout at the 4:33 mark. I think TJ was embarrassed for him and called the timeout as a professional courtesy. "Dude, your team is falling apart. Don't embarrass yourself."
TJ had to call that timeout. We were gassed.

It was the big stretch for the rebound off the missed free throw. Probably pulled something a little. I’d bet he’ll be fine.

It definitely happened right after he really extended to pull in a rebound before the 4 minute mark. As soon as he passed the ball I noticed that he was grabbing his lower back and could tell the rest of the game he was walking around a little stiff. The under 4 timeout looked like they brought some kind of pad out for him, guessing it was either a heat or cold pad. Would guess he's probably a little sore this morning after that but major props for him to gut it out and not come out of the game.

What did Tre King do to get his tech, was at the game so don’t know
After a dead ball and multiple players were gathered under the basket starting to walk towards there respective benches there was some contact between him and a Tex@$$ player. Basically walking through each other to get where they are going. It didn't seem overly egregious to me but King threw his arms up in there as to show "I'm not the aggressor here" which more just brought attention to the incident.

Just stupid chippiness and overly physical contact for no reason.

It looked like he walked into Cunningham and Cunningham made an exaggerated motion in response (like he did on almost everything the entire game).
King did the classic “I’m going to instigate contact while leaving this scrum but I’ve got my hands up so I’m not doing anything”. Was entirely avoidable, but maybe a 2 or a scale of 1-10. Absolutely no reason to call a T.

My guess is the refs were jumpy with the intensity of the game and that minor scrum on the baseline.

If I’m being totally objective, his T and no-call with Grill taunting their bench that blatantly probably balances each other out.
