I get around
So what is being done about first half of the game being a fixed pro wrestling match?

Our fans paid to see real sports, not scripted entertainment. What kind of criminal enterprise is this if these guys ever work a big 12 game again?
I think that they should make Baylor play the game over again and in Ames, in December, no heaters allowed for Baylor, we get to pick one of their defensive starters to be out for the game and we get to supply the officiating crew. And, we get to pick the date and time of the game with a maximum of a 24 hr notice to Baylor.

Maybe get a walk-on to fight Shapen so they both get ejected like the Montgomery situation.

Don't know how you would not think that if you actually watched the game.
Saying a game was "fixed" is so damn bad. This is just pure incompetence. The Big 12 has never been one to dish out the money to retain good officiating crews, and it's all come to a serious head the past two years. Hopefully this is something the new commissioner fixes.

Do you honestly believe this game was fixed?

I think the result was altered by officiating.

100% of all humans in all professions have biases. It could be as simple as that.

Incompetence is completely off the table because Baylor would had normal legal defensive plays flagged too.

I have watched NBA and soccer games that turned out to be fixed that seemed less fixed when I watched them live. Nobody can know but the nature of the calls being so nonsensical rather than close judgement calls makes it possible.

One sided incompetence isn’t a thing. The act of focusing these weird anti tacking rules on one team actually proves a level of competence.

Extreme bias favoring Baylor is by far most likely explanation for the refs.

I think the crew decided they weren't going to make an example out of any more tackles and eject more players. It's bs but I don't believe for one second this result was fixed.
14 unearned points in a 7 point game? He’ll of an “example”.

Just don’t say Baylor played aggressive at all. If they did some of your “examples” would’ve been flags in their defense.

With the acceptance and availability of online sports betting now, I don't put anything past anyone when it comes to fixing a game. The fact that they didn't even review defensive plays Baylor did that were exactly the same, if not worse than what we were flagged for is very suspicious. It flat out makes zero sense that one guy is kicked out of the game for a tackle that happens 4 or 5 other times during the game and there isn't even a review on the play.

Like I said, with online gambling being everywhere now, a little nudge of the spot here, a no call there and a big penalty to keep multiple drives going completely on one side of the ball, I'd be less surprised to find out it was just a completely incompetent officiating crew than to find out they bet on Baylor to cover. It really doesn't take much to move the advantage to one team.
