Is there a place, preferably in West Central Iowa, that you can dispose of old appliances? Got a few things I’m looking to get rid of and just need to find a final resting place for them.

Many electric companies are mandated to do these things. We did this for an old refrigerator. Mid American gave us $50, and it didn't even run.
Usually they have to be in working condition and it's only refrigerators and freezers. We did this for an old refrigerator. Mid American gave us $50, and it didn't even run.
just any old rural gravel road like the rest of the city people
I live about 1/4 mile from a trailer park in the country. Apparently they think gravel road ditches and creeks are public dumping grounds too.just any old rural gravel road like the rest of the city people
usually hardware stores that do installs have the machines they have replaced sitting somewhere at the store. At one point you could get lowes to sell you one for $50Along these lines, I am looking for old parts, specifically the wash drum, from a washing machine. Anyone know of a place I can get one? Would I have to get an entire junked out washer and take it apart myself? I want to make a fire pit from the drum.
