Wow. That's not good at all. I was probably one of the few who liked it the old way.

I think we might be over-doing it w/the fanfare a bit.

That sure does look like a huge crank. Thank god the helmet isn't at the beginning and the tunnel at not the end. Our players would look like little...well you get the picture.

To answer whoever asked the question... yes... the players will be walking down the stairs of the jacobson building and come out of Jacobson's south doors and there will be stuff preventing you from seeing the players until they come out of the helmet, and while they are walking through the jacobson and tunnel there will be music with the new video board sequence.

As for a "unique" entrance, one idea, Rick Neuheisel had CU players enter thru the student section at Folsom field in 1995 vs. nebraska, and totally got the stadium jacked, although it didn't work well against the juggernaut nu team that year.

How about the team arrive at midfield in a few Army Chinook helicopters? that would intimidate the hell outta the opponent. Just kidding.

Does anyone have a clue on what the videoboard sequence is going to be like?

i'm real curious to see how this all works out this thursday.. i think the helmet idea and smoke as we run out will be awesome.. hopefully i will not be wrong..

i am kind of worried about how effective the tornado sirens will be.. i was hoping it would be something really really loud that you could hear from possibly in the locker rooms and around town.. however it sounds like they are just playing some type of sound effect through the speakers at the stadium and i don't think that will carry very far.. especially if it is windy... any thoughts?

I hate it. It seems so un-college football like. This is CF not semi pro football. Lose it and have the team come out on the field in masse. YUCK!

I think with the stadium packed and the band on the field, it won't look as bad as the picture, hopefully it will just blend in.
