Field turf. I really like the grass field, but maybe it's time.
This. We’ve done irreparable harm to our planet, so we need to start considering artificial means of survival. We should also replace the all-American grove with fake plastic trees

I guess no one knows who else has a Nov 2nd bye.

They wouldn't play it during the bye week. There is no way Campbell would want to play a meaningless game the week before OU. At best it would be a set up like last year. If you insist on solving problems that aren't likely to happen then start with that scenario.I guess no one knows who else has a Nov 2nd bye.
One would think this could be found, easily, but I will be damned. I can’t find it anywhere. Full disclosure, I’m not very good at the interwebs.
1. And tell me how many delays in the history of Iowa state football. I’ll tell you—-4. 2 last week, 1 last year that ended up cancelled, and I think 1 before the Kansas game started 2 years ago. That’s a bad, bad trend.
2005 Colorado tornado game was delayed like an hour because tornado.1. And tell me how many delays in the history of Iowa state football. I’ll tell you—-4. 2 last week, 1 last year that ended up cancelled, and I think 1 before the Kansas game started 2 years ago. That’s a bad, bad trend.

Lol this isn't a JV football game.
The game won't be cancelled.
Fair enough, the possibility of a delay is validated. And remind me again, how many games have been canceled due to weather in the history of Cyclone football?
It's only been 1 year, I didn't think people would forget so fast.
Not to cave this, but things are different weather wise than they used to be. This is becoming a trend.
We've seen a lot of rainy days at Jack Trice. We haven't seen incessant lightning until now.
Ha. I didn’t finish my thought. There’s been 8 and I think 4 in the last 2 years.
That was an anomaly, no denying that. When you kickoff at 6PM and storms fire up, there isn't much time to get a game in.
Tomorrow is scattered, unlike last year. Kickoff is 11, unlike last year.
All of this is true.
But you can’t be surprised that people are jumpy. I sat through SDSU until they called it after 4 + hours. I sat through 6 + hours on Saturday. The thought of having to do that again is enough to make me sick.
at what point does the game become final, before reaching 60 minutes of playing time?
