....next an impressive showing at Big 12's....
....then a sensational NCAA tournament, consistently knocking off higher seeds...
....and placing three All-Americans


i don't know what you said to those guys, or if the 8000 at Hilton for Beauty and the Beast triggered these guys to do more...

I think this article tells perfectly where the ISU wrestling program was, where it went to the last couple years, where its at now and where its going. I hope the people that are not Jackson likers read this. It may be hard to believe what your being told if its by an avid fan of the program. This not only tells you the exact thing that some of us have been trying to tell you, but its from one of the most popular wrestling sites in America.

I think most did but I don't think your naysayers are still going to be happy til we reach the top 5. I think most of us that follow the program realize the great strides we made this year but some people just can't be happy.

First I will say I opposed the contract extension. I must say that the ISU wrestlers finished the season wrestling the way they should. A lot of work left to do, but I will support KJ since we have no choice in the matter anyway.

Key will be to keep recruiting guys who want to come in here and improve every day.

I have heard names of kids that KJ and staff have contacted and if we can land a couple of them, we the fans should be happy.

I was not at the after party because we had to package meals back home for Haiti all day Sunday, but the quotes are about thanking the people that continued to back KJ and the quotes were regarding the people that were against him. Basically saying none of the people against him could take him down or something to that affect.

I believe the boys new the coaches job was in their hands, and did what it took to get their coach back. They came up from the depths, in spite of being a young team they banded together and prove that they can compete with the best of them. This team will be a top two team in a few years.
