When I saw this a few days ago my first reaction was to laugh out loud and wondering if this was written in a state where marijuana was legalized. Perhaps I’m a little jaded from the product that I saw this year with all the preseason hype. The tagline of “prove it“ only proves one thing… We’re not there yet.

Our play makers are on offense are really good but my main concern with the offense is replacing 4 o-line starters. The defense might take a hit losing Ray Lima, but I think it will still be on the of the top units in the Big 12.

Does it make you feel any better that with Downing and Newell (assuming he;s healthy), we're not really replacing four?

Ya, I think I'll keep my expectations in check and hopefully be pleasantly surprised. Winning records are the expectation ..top 15 is the next step.

Good for program to get the pub though. No doubt about that.

12 is really damn high, but ok. Can't hurt I suppose.

Really hope that this year is the KL/Clyburn year we had in basketball where we were so close but got kicked in the balls as often as possible, with the next season being where we launched forward. Conference is going to be a killer next season but with any luck so will we

Do you think they just recycle their top ten every year? Seems pretty sketch to have A&M up there.

I don't mind a little hype in the program, I just want to get wherever we have to get that we exceed our own high expectations for once.

Twelve? Hook it to my veins.

And for those saying "too high..." No. The only number too high is 9. That's the number of doom for ISU.

as per usual O-line will be a difference maker. I do feel the team this year was better then the 7-5 record. the K-state game was the only one that was questionable in our effort..

I think it’s really cool how a lot of CFers think that in order to “take the next atep” or “prove it” we have to win more games than the year before and their expectations adjust to that yearly. Nothing less than 9 wins this year was going to satisfy them. And if we had gotten to 9 wins this year the baseline win total for next year would be 10 wins. And if those ten wins didn’t come we need to question everything about the program.
