No idea what the score will be but if I think this game will be decide by defensive rebounding and our shooting. Which is to say they are not going to stop our shooters. The only question will be if they are hot. And if we can rebound on our end then I like our chances out scoring them on 1st chance points.

I think they can definitely do this. Esp. with the short layover and BU coming off another big loss.

Baylors zone is horrible, isu's offense will get a lot of open threes. A little worried about our defense against there offense though. I think our d plays better than theirs and we come out with the upset

I predict that only one day of preparing will hurt both team. Saying that, I think it'll be sloppy at first. I just can't choose against the Clones in this one. I'm pumped.

I think it will come down to the very end, the team is likely going to be pumped up for this one and ready to go.

Depends on FG%....if we shoot around 35-38% from the floor and cant light them up on the perimeter with the three and attack their zone defense...we lose by 10+. (See OSU and Texas road games)

If we shoot around 45-50 FG% and our three point shooters are on....we will win by 4+ points.

I think Baylor is one of those teams that is streaky, and it worries me that they have lost a few in a row now.....lets hope they stay cold.

No prediction yet, but keys to the game:

Patience on offense- get the open shots

Defensive rebounding- keep them off the boards

Defense, defense, defense

Do those things, and we win.

I haven't seen Baylor a ton this year, but my general impression is that they win when they are more talented than the competition, and lose when they aren't (or are even). They have a ton of talent, but it's like a team of individuals. Maybe that is how Drew gets the recruits he does? Just brings in talent and lets them do their own thing?

They will be in zone so we probably won't run too much motion stuff. More about spacing and finding the high post and distributing. Would love to see Royce at high post with his vision, passing, and driving ability.

Crisp passing. Nothing helps a zone more than taking a couple of dribbles before making the next pass. Nothing hurts a zone more than pass after pass after pass so the zone has to constantly shift and try to keep up; nothing hurts more except for hitting the eventual open shots of course.

Hopefully Baylor continues their absolutely pathetic zone D and we make another 16 threes :)

If offensive ball movement/distribution and defensive intensity is on par with what we saw vs. A&M, I like our chances.

As long as ISU shooters aren't ice-cold, you can exploit the zone. Knock down perimeter shots and loosen the lane for drive-and-dish opportunities.

On defense, limit second-chance points.

Somewhere in the U.S.
Mizzou had an almost identical game against Baylor as ISU had against Oklahoma.....50% from3, No perimeter defense. Baylor rebounded well but that was about it. If ISU shoots well at all I am confident they will win . Time to make 15 to 20 3's!

Sounds like people on their message board are saying they espect a crowd of around 6500 for the game Monday.
