Who do you guys have for getting into bcs bowl games? I got:

AQ conference champions:
Alabama
Florida State
Central Florida
Oklahoma State
Stanford
Ohio State

Then I'll say Northern Illinois gets one which leaves three at large bids:
Clemson (only lost to #2 FSU)
Auburn or Mizzou (both in current top 5)
Baylor (only loss on road at #7 Oklahoma St)

Things could be jumbled if Michigan St beats Ohio St in title game or Arizona St beats Stanford.

What do you guys think?

I hate that Northern Illinois and UCF are likely to get in. I say just have them play each other in the Orange Bowl so they don't have to ruin 2 BCS games.

Baylor? :twitcy:

There is no way Baylor goes. My guess is Wisconsin or Oregon will take that last spot.

I just hate the rule that allows one of them to get their own at large bid just because one conference (and that conference has been the AAC\Big east of late) sucks. Should have had that conference forfeit its bid, and not take a bid away from a better team.

I also think that Auburn is going to beat Alabama tomorrow and win the SEC Championship game. Not sure what that would do with the BCS title game picture.

Selection order matters here too.

With Alabama/FSU title game it will be:

1. Sugar (cause they lost Bama)
2. Orange (cause they lost FSU)
3. Orange
4. Sugar
5. Fiesta

So the first at-large pick will be the Sugar taking SEC #2.

Then the Orange will have their pick for whatever matchup of 2 at large teams they want. Likely Clemson-Wisconsin, as that will fill the stadium the most.

Fiesta and Sugar will get screwed splitting UCF and NIU.

As do I.

It would then look like this...

NC- Ohio State/Florida State
Fiesta- Okie State/N Illinois
Orange- Clemson/Bama
Rose- Stanford/Wisconsin
Sugar- Auburn or Mizzou/UCF

I hope that Michigan State beats Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game so they don't get in. I would hate to watch OSU in the national championship.

That's another good point, and another reason why I think it is nearly a lock the Big Ten gets two.

If OSU somehow gets into the title game, the Rose will replace them with another Big Ten. Period.

If MSU beats OSU to go to the Rose Bowl, there is absolutely no way the others pass on the Buckeyes.

If Baylor beats Texas, the Sugar will have to pick between a 1 loss Baylor OR 2 loss Clemson or 2 loss Oregon

NCG - FSU/Ohio St
Sugar - Auburn/Baylor,Oregon, Clemson
Rose - Mich St/Stanford
Fiesta - OSU/NIU
Orange - UCF/Bama

Whaaaaaaaa? Im assuming you mean Ohio State, not Oregon in the NC. If thats the case, the selection order goes like this...

Orange
Rose (vs Pac 12 Champ)
Orange
Sugar (vs SEC Champ)
Fiesta (vs Big 12 Champ)

No. That's wrong.

If the title game is FSU/Ohio State, the Sugar will have a choice between NIU and UCF.

If the title game is FSU/Ohio St the pick order will be:

Orange
Rose
Orange
Sugar
Fiesta
