The biggest anecdotal difference for me is that you used to see people kind of 'stumbling' into the building because they just slammed two or three more right before walking in. You don't see that anymore and beer doesn't get spilled any more than any other liquid does in the seating area....
Ya I'm not concerned until semen is getting spilled on me.

Not exactly sure.
How many beer sales would this add? Suites, Sukup (and I think the club) have it available. That fits the possibilities down to what 51k without? Throw in 10k that are underage, so let’s say 40k people for easy math. If they average one beer per person. ( selling at $10/beer since people here complained that 13 was too much) let’s say $4 beer profit ($3 for the beer and the same for everything else). That would be 160k per game. So we are talking around 1MM per year if we can average one per game per person. I have 4 tickets and we might buy one amongst all of us.

People would likely be less drunk if this occurred. As it is now every one is going out to get loaded at half time and it hits them right as they get back in their seats. Same amount of piss. Same amount of people leaving and coming back.
Iowa games would prove otherwise. Student section is a uphevel convention from what kids who are around it tell me. They slam beers inside. They buy 2 because they are limited although that is 4 normal beers.

Ames Lager doesn't get the AD itself a dime. They'd be MUCH more interested in selling one of the beers they've partnered with.
Well maybe Jamie needs to come around. Use that to fund the NIL till he starts paying players directly.

I've got an idea, stick with me here. Let's treat adults like... Adults.
So people throwing up on each other is adult behavior? Little confusing. ISU gives you several options to purchase alcohol at JTS. Sit in sukup, the club or get a suite and you can. I don’t see why it’s so difficult to sit 3 hours for a game. Most likely they will quit start of the 4th so now it’s like 2.5 hours you have to go without.

I went to Bible study and contemplated my place in the universe back in my Ames days.

No chance I drank wife beaters of malt liquor and ended up in weird places. Nope.

I would've been a complete sinner if they sold beer at Cyclone Stadium. Thankfully no beer allowed in those days!

I'd happily buy a beer or two at the game without too much cocnern about price. The lines would be an issue though. Wen't to Kinnick with my wife a couple of years ago (she's a hok sadly) and it would have been over half an hour wait for a beer.

No arrest the drunks. I shouldn't have to donate just to ******* drink. Thus treat adults like adults. Let them drink and punish them for bad behavior.

Is there a law prohibiting sales in the seats? Beer vendors or vendors at the top of the stairs?

For many places you have to go through metal detectors (people should be able to be adults and not need them), get your ticket scanned (at OU you don’t need to and they only deal with it if it’s a problem), adults should be able to buy a ticket and find their seat, you shouldn’t have the need for ushers since people shouldn’t try to squeeze extra people into their seats. There are a lot of occurances where adults aren’t treated like adults at games. Do you get huffy when you go to a movie and they don’t sell beer there?

Ya I do. Don't put rules on 90% of the people who act right. It's entirely possible to drink responsibly. They're selling a product, make it appealing. I don't want to hear them whine about the **** they have to deal with when their budget is $115 million, oh but still remember to donate!

Seems a bit long. They have areas set up outside the stadium now also. It is fenced in. It's the restrooms that are the much bigger issue now there.

UT had beer kiosk set up all around the stadium to get a quick beer, they also served at the regular stands around the stadium. Much like they do at many ballparks and concert venues. Easy for people to grab a quick beer and back to your seat.
