Anyone else seen this on the Big Ten Network. I know tons of people don't believe the hype of him, especially hawk fans, but he is so interesting. I always figured he would be some arrogant prick, but he appears to be a very humble guy that is extremely driven. Wonder what his dream job is. Big college program or NFL coach?

Could be next coach of tOSU - coached there and Tresel disciple. Only if successful at Minnesota.
Yeah I wasn't aware of that until I saw the show. It'd be nice to get him out of the state up north. Gonna be a pain in the butt for both us and Iowa for awhile.

PJ Fleck is a huge piece of ****. ISU by far got the better of the two young big name MAC coaches.

When you're married with a family, trying to screw half the campus and boosters hot wives will catch up with you. It already caught up with him once and it will again. A college buddy that's a head coach for a HS just south of Twin Cities says Fleck is a used car salesman of a coach.

I agree - love the show. And the guy is a helluva coach.

This what I've heard as well. But the guy can sell. It will be interesting to watch from afar to see if he goes down in flames. If he's successful at Minnesota I can see him making it to a big time gig and flaming out spectacularly like Sarkisian did at USC. This time with sex addiction instead of booze.

Did I hear Fleck correctly that he is at his huge MI lake house only two weeks out of the entire year?

Just watched this for the first time because it was on ESPN this morning. I can see why this guy has been successful. He's a leader, he has a plan, he's executing on it. Sound familiar? Flawed, sure. But everyone is. I'm glad we got who we got in MC but he and PJ are both interesting young coaches who will be successful, in my opinion. I think we basically have PJ without the baggage.

There is no objective proof of your first point. They got the better person, IMO, but all evidence would actually point to Fleck being a better coach, in terms of wins at ISU.
